The Central Lions nudged the visiting Northgate Vikings volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lions now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Landmark Christian for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Central will play a War Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brookstone (Columbus, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Northgate drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to play the War Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. The War Eagles come into the outing with a record of 5-4. Landmark Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brookstone (Columbus, GA)
