The Foard Tigers were victorious over the visiting Draughn Wildcats volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a Western Foothills 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, August 19.

With the loss, Draughn drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, August 18. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 0-3. Freedom lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
