Hamilton Lions (Hamilton, MS) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 5-15 record. In their last challenge, Heritage Academy was beaten by Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Houston will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
