The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the North Crowley Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), observed North Crowley's volleyball team top Horn by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Walnut Grove was knocked off by Centennial (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

The Jaguars now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewisville for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Horn will encounter a Farmers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Bell (Hurst, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 0-1.
