Texas High School Volleyball - Summer Creek can't hold off Lake Creek

In Thursday's non-league match, the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) volleyball team held off the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Amarillo for a non-league bout on Friday, August 15. Lake Creek will clash with a Sandies team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Plains (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Summer Creek falls to 3-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to MacArthur (Houston, TX) to battle the Generals in a non-league contest on Friday, August 15. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 0-1. MacArthur lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Humble (Humble, TX)
