The Meridian Wildcats tipped the visiting Wayne County War Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Kemper County for a non-league outing on Monday, August 18.
With the loss, Wayne County drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The War eagles travel to Richton (Richton, MS) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league match on Monday, August 18. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 0-3.
