North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mountain Island Charter over Piedmont Community Charter

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots.

The Raptors (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln Charter achieved victory over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Queen's Grant for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test on Tuesday, August 19. Piedmont Community Charter will face a Stallions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-1.
