In Thursday's non-league match, the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Gryphons battle the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 19. New Covenant will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
