Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC) and the visiting St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC), observed Northwood Academy's volleyball team top St. John's Christian Academy by a tally of 3-0.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC). The Golden Warrriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, John Paul II beat Veritas Academy (Savannah, GA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. St. John's Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
