The West Jones Mustangs volleyball team (Laurel, MS), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS)

The Bobcats (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Northeast Jones was defeated by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Jones for a non-league test on Monday, August 18. West Jones will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Seminary (Seminary, MS). The Braves record now stands at 4-1.
