The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Van Vleck was defeated by Bay City (Bay City, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Van Vleck for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Wharton will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 2-2.
