In Monday's league outing, the host Broken Bow Savages softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Checotah Wildcats.

Coming up next, the Savages encounter the Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, August 16. Broken Bow will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Muldrow (Muldrow, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 4A District 5 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Muldrow ran past Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK), 6-4, in a league outing.
