The Johns Creek Gladiators softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants to 5 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Johns Creek improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Roswell (Roswell, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a 6A Region 7 game on Tuesday, August 16. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 2-2. Roswell lost 9-3 in their recent non-league game against West Forsyth (Cumming, GA)

In their next game, the Red Elephants clash with the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, August 17. Gainesville will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
