Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 18. Trion will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, LaFayette falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Ramblers host Dade County (Trenton, GA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 16. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Dade County lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA)
