With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights host Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA) to play the Eagles in a GICAA- I South bout on Thursday, August 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Sherwood Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA)

The now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a 2A Area 1 bout on Thursday, August 18. Central Georgia Arts will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 6-1.
