In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ooltewah Owls.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Hixson (Hixson, TN). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Hixson was defeated by Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN), 3-0, in a non-league match.

With the loss, Ooltewah drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Owls host Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 16. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 0-0.
