Utah High School Soccer - Mountain Ridge knocks off Bingham

Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Sentinels confront the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, August 17. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 5-3 league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT).
The Miners now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Copper Hills for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, August 17. Bingham will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-3 league win over Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-0.
