The Salt Lake Academy Griffins soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Herriman Mustangs to 1 in the Griffins league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Griffins face the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Cavemen enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT).
The Mustangs now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Riverton for a 6A Region 2 contest on Thursday, August 17. Herriman will face a Silverwolves team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Silverwolves record now stands at 2-2.
