North Carolina High School Volleyball - Clinton edged by East Bladen

The East Bladen Eagles held off the visiting Clinton Dark Horses volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Bladen for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. East Bladen will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

The Dark Horses (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Lakewood was nudged by East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
