Edmond North Huskies (Edmond, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midwest City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17. Edmond North will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Jenks falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Ponca City (Ponca City, OK) to battle the Wildcats in a 6A District 4 challenge on Wednesday, August 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Ponca City won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Muskogee (Muskogee, OK)
