The South Paulding Spartans topped the visiting Alexander Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockmart for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. South Paulding will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rome (Rome, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their test against South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, South Cobb was knocked off by Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
