The Austin-East Roadrunners volleyball team (Knoxville, TN), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Northview Academy Cougars (Kodak, TN)

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles come into the AA District 3 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Seymour went down by Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Roadrunners encounter the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN) in a challenge, on Thursday, August 17. Austin-East will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Greene (Greeneville, TN).
