In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mayfield Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Calloway County Lakers.
The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Pilots come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fulton County lost by Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lakers clash with the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Calloway County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
