The Surry Central Golden Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host East Wilkes Cardinals to 2 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 16. Surry Central will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
