The Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) volleyball overcame the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Timberwolves host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to face the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 17. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the outing with a record of 0-1. South Stanly lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Pine Forest for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 16.
