In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Morehead Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Northeast Guilford Rams.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Rockingham County beat Reidsville (Reidsville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 19. Northeast Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC).
