North Carolina High School Soccer - Wheatmore knocks off North Stanly

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Wheatmore Warriors soccer squad scored a nice 10-1 victory over the North Stanly Comets.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, East Davidson prevailed over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 4-3, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Comets play the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 20. North Stanly will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Colts go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC).
