The Fort Gibson Tigers edged the visiting Haskell Haymakers softball squad by a count of 12-11 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Union Redhawks (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 16. Fort Gibson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Choctaw (Choctaw, OK).
The Haymakers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Christian edged Morris (Morris, OK), 10-2, in a league challenge.
