In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Gore Pirates softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Weleetka Outlaws.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Porum (Porum, OK). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Porum nipped Crowder (Crowder, OK), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Outlaws battle the Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 15. Weleetka will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Graham/Dustin (Weleetka, OK).
