The South Gwinnett Comets edged the visiting Meadowcreek Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Comets face the Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 15. South Gwinnett will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Horizon Christian Academy (Cumming, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record.
