The Monroe Redhawks topped the visiting Victory Christian Center Kings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Redhawks face the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A game, on Thursday, August 22. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.

The Kings (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodlawn (Davidson, NC). The Trailblazers go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Woodlawn went down by SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
