The Morehead Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Northeast Guilford Rams to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Rockingham County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 20. Morehead will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Northeast Guilford drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Lexington (Lexington, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Monday, August 19. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Lexington won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC)
