Georgia High School Volleyball - Pickens over Murray County

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the host Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), observed Pickens's volleyball team top Murray County by a count of 3-1.

The Dragons (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Sonoraville notched a victory over Dalton (Dalton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 17. Murray County will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA).
