Kentucky High School Soccer - McCreary Central toppled by Russell County

The Russell County Lakers smashed the host McCreary Central Raiders soccer team by a tally of 8-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lakers now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Laurel for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. Russell County will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, McCreary Central moves to 0-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to face the Warriors in a District 48 game on Monday, August 25. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-0.
