The Cordell Blue Devils triumphed over the host Anadarko Warriors softball squad by a count of 18-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils play the Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK) in a 2A challenge, on Friday, August 22. Cordell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Geronimo (Geronimo, OK). The Blue Jays come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Geronimo ran past Hammon (Hammon, OK), 6-0, in a league battle.
