In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Crowder Demons softball team scored a tight 7-6 triumph over the Weleetka Outlaws.

With the triumph, Crowder upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Demons travel to Wetumka (Wetumka, OK) to confront the Chieftains in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Chieftains come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Wetumka lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Haileyville (Haileyville, OK)

The Outlaws (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets enter the Class A challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Macomb edged Crowder (Crowder, OK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
