Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Pauls Valley Panthers (Pauls Valley, OK), 16-3 in a league match.

The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Marietta (Marietta, OK). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Marietta was routed by Turner (Burneyville, OK), 15-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Western Heights Jets (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 15. Pauls Valley will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Jets come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Lawton (Lawton, OK).
