In Friday's non-league test, the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK), by a margin of 11-0.
The Indians now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. El Reno will encounter a Owls team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK). The Owls record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, MacArthur moves to 1-5 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Alva (Alva, OK) to encounter the Goldbugs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. The Goldbugs come into the outing with a record of 4-1.
