In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. John's Mavericks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bellaire Cardinals.
The Mavericks (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Ridge Point gained a win over Covenant (Dallas, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
