In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bishop Kelley Comets.

The Fighting Irish (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Enid was beaten by Stillwater (Stillwater, OK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Charles Page Sandites (Sand Springs, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Bishop Kelley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Sandites go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Stillwater (Stillwater, OK).
