Texas High School Volleyball - Incarnate Word Academy Calallen

Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Huntsville beat Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Angels face the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 15. Incarnate Word Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Cobras go into the game with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Shiner (Shiner, TX).
