With the win, Calhoun improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Sandcrabs travel to Cuero (Cuero, TX) to meet the Gobblers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Gobblers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Cuero lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jones (Beeville, TX)

Next, the Knights meet the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 15. Harker Heights will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tarpons go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX).
