The Hutto Hippos prevailed the host Taylor Ducks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hippos now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pflugerville for a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. Hutto will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Taylor drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Ducks travel to Thrall (Thrall, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 19. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 4-1. Thrall won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Vanguard College Prep (Waco, TX)
