California High School Volleyball - La Costa Canyon can't hold off Mt. Carmel

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils tipped the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
The Sundevils now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Bernardo for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. Mt. Carmel will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, La Costa Canyon drops to 1-5 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to confront the Titans in a non-league match on Friday, August 15. The Titans enter the match with a record of 0-0.
