In Friday's non-league challenge, the host West Wendover Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Mineral County Serpents.
With the win, West Wendover advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV) to face the Falcons in a 2A Northern test on Friday, August 29. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Serpents play the Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Mineral County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
