The Mount Pleasant Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Concord Spiders to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Cabarrus for a non-league game on Thursday, August 18.
The Spiders (0-1) will now prepare for their game against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, North Stanly was dropped by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
