Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) and the visiting Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), witnessed Lee County's softball squad tip Crisp County by a count of 7-6.
The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league match on Wednesday, August 17. Lee County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Veterans (Kathleen, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Crisp County moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Lowndes (Valdosta, GA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, August 18. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 4-0. Lowndes won 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Tift County (Tifton, GA)
