Georgia High School Softball - Paulding County bounces Langston Hughes

The Paulding County Patriots routed the host Langston Hughes Panthers softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars go into the 6A Region 5 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Alexander was routed by South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas County for a 6A Region 5 battle on Thursday, August 18. Langston Hughes will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
