The Canyon Lake held off the visiting Poth Pirates volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host United for a non-league test on Friday, August 19. Canyon Lake will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-1.

The Pirates (2-5) will now prepare for their test against College Station (College Station, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, College Station was nudged by The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
