The Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) volleyball tipped the host Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Killeen upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Kangaroos travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 18. The Plainsmen go into the outing with a record of 7-4. Monterey won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)

The Lions now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tomball Memorial for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 18. Waco will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-7.
